Hi, I’m Emily (she/her).

I want to capture what is real for your family—the moments that reflect your connections and personalities, beyond posed smiles, in a space and time where everyone is free to just be themselves.  My goal is to create images that beautifully capture that special something which is individually, wonderfully, miraculously you.

I believe that love is love, and that our identities do not fit neatly into binary labels. I embrace the adventure that is all the ways we are human.

I trust that everyone is generally doing the best they can, and that we’re all good enough just the way we are.  I especially want the children I work with to feel seen and accepted for exactly who they are; even if during our session this doesn’t look like a cooperative ‘smile for the camera.’
